“The world is a better place because Steve was a part of our lives”
“This is so heartbreaking. Steve Bean will be truly missed. He was such a wonderful man”
“What a true and wonderful gentleman, artist and friend”
“Steve was one of the most talented artists I have ever known”
“The world lost a good man today!”
These are just a few of the comments out there, at the news that Steve Bean has passed away.
I normally want to make this section of our site, good news for our community, don’t miss and did you know. The problem is that I can’t let this event pass without saying something, personally.
I may not have known Steve for as many years as many of you, but for the time that I did, I personally found him to be a real gentleman, always willing to help, stop and talk with you, and always appreciative of anything you did for him and the Okefenokee Heritage Center. Whenever you met him, he was always the same and had time for you.
At this time, words fail me, but I do know that our family, Deb, Angelina & myself will really miss Steve, sadly there are not enough people like him in this world.
